Traveling Construction Superintendent – Commercial (C-Stores) About Presmont Companies

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys managing all aspects of onsite construction.
Frequent travel within the Eastern United States is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all onsite construction activities from start to finish.
- Ensure a safe jobsite environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and according to plans, specifications, and addenda.
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality control and performance.
- Track and verify materials, tools, and equipment.
- Submit accurate daily reports with photos.
- Maintain project redlines and revisions throughout construction.
- Conduct and coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and permitting offices.
- Successfully close out all permits and inspections, obtaining Certificates of Occupancy in a timely manner.
- Partner with Project Managers and back-office staff for seamless project execution.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Demonstrated experience overseeing ground-up or remodel projects in convenience stores, retail, car wash, and restaurant environments.
- Experience with construction management software.
- Strong knowledge of building standards, codes, and specifications.
- OSHA 10/30-hour training certification.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Microsoft Project experience a plus.
- Self-motivated, professional, and energetic with the ability to lead teams effectively.

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
