Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a busser. This role is ideal for someone with experience or interest in the food service and hospitality industry. The busser will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall dining or event experience. The position offers an engaging work environment where communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success.
SEEKING
Sunday and Saturdays. Morning shifts are 11AM-4:30PM. Evening shifts are 4:30PM-10PM
Pay
In addition to the hourly wage, the busser will also receive a percentage of the tip during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Clear tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Handle food with proper safety and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, dining, and service areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food handling, preparation, or other duties as needed in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality preferred but not required
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (English) and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards is a plus
- Experience with bussing, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Reliable team player with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
