For over 35 years, Jemms-Cascade has been a global provider of specialty nutrunner attachments. With in-house Engineering and In-house Manufacturing, Jemms-Cascade has solved thousands of difficult applications worldwide. We are currently seeking to hire an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator. This position is full-time with the opportunity for overtime.
1st Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Duties / Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts
2. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
3. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for the job
4. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output
5. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed for optimal performance
6. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
7. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
8. Support corporate, plant and team objectives through timelines, productivity, and overtime when necessary.
Qualifications / Skills
1. Outstanding programming ability
2. 2 years CNC Lathe operating experience required
3. Familiarity with Fanuc or similar control systems
4. Eurotech / Okuma experience is a plus.
5. Previous knowledge or experience making gears is a plus
