Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before reaching the guest.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners.
- Sales skills to effectively promote menu items and enhance guest experiences.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
