Responsibilities
- Prepare and package orders with precision, ensuring all items are correctly picked, packed, and labeled for shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently to load and unload goods
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and verify order accuracy
- Manage shipping documentation including labels, bills of lading, and customs paperwork as needed for domestic or international shipments
- Conduct regular stock checks, stocking duties, and inventory reconciliation using AS400 or MRP systems to maintain accurate stock records
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to streamline order fulfillment processes and optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist with receiving incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and storing items appropriately in the warehouse
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving operations
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and MRP software
- Experience with order picking & packing for e-commerce platforms or large-scale distribution centers
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment
- Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order accuracy
