Summary
We are seeking a part time Telephone Triage Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, prioritizing care, and providing essential support to our pediatric patients and their families. Your contributions will be vital in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of pediatric patients to determine the urgency of care needed based on information provided over the phone.
- Document patient information accurately.
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding health concerns and treatment options.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care strategies.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; experience in pediatrics preferred.
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and their families.
- Basic knowledge of vital signs monitoring and airway management techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
