Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY welcomed)
- Certification in or experience with school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with required records
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and SLPAs to optimize student outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to support best practices
