This job is for movers needed for contract work moving furniture and boxes in and out of apartments while they are being renovated. We have part-time contract work within the Roswell, NM area, that will be ongoing for ruffly the next 6-10 months.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items from apartments into trucks and vice versa.
- Safely transport items to their designated locations
- Assist with packing and unpacking belongings
- Operate equipment such as dollies to move heavy items
- Ensure items are properly secured for transportation
- Communicate with customers to address any concerns or special instructions
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a mover or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Note: Pay is based off of experience, but starting out is $15 per hour.
Reliable transportation to and from jobsite required.
