Concrete Finisher – Residential Construction
Citation Site Services is looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our residential concrete crews. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well as part of a team, and understands what it takes to produce a clean, professional finished product.
This position will work under the direction of the Concrete Foreman and Senior Foreman and will be involved in residential concrete work from foundation walls and slabs to driveways, sidewalks, patios, and other flatwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform concrete finishing for residential foundations, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, patios, and other flatwork
- Assist with concrete placement, spreading, screeding, bull floating, edging, and finishing
- Operate hand and power tools used for concrete work
- Perform broom, smooth, and other specified finishes
- Assist with formwork, reinforcement, layout, and preparation as needed
- Maintain proper grades, elevations, slopes, and finishes
- Identify quality issues and communicate them to the Foreman
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project
- Properly clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Help load, unload, organize, and maintain company tools and equipment
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to keep projects on schedule
- Assist with cleanup and jobsite organization at the completion of each project
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of concrete finishing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential concrete work
- Experience with hand and power finishing tools
- Ability to produce a quality finished product
- Good eye for grade, slope, and finish
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Takes direction well and communicates effectively with the Foreman
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Valid driver's license preferred
Sign-On Bonus
Earn up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days of employment.
Bonus eligibility is based on attendance, performance, safety, and meeting company expectations during the first 90 days.
