Responsibilities
- Perform abatement activities including asbestos and mold remediation using appropriate safety procedures and equipment
- Conduct water damage restoration by cleaning affected areas, and preventing further damage
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks within restoration projects
- Execute fire restoration processes such as soot removal, deodorization, and debris cleanup
- Follow safety protocols diligently to handle hazardous materials like asbestos or mold safely
- Support construction-related tasks including minor repairs, drywall removal, or surface preparation as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields with current asbestos license is highly preferred
- Knowledge of remediation techniques for mold, water damage, fire damage, and asbestos abatement
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with the use of safety equipment such as respirators, gloves, and protective suits
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
