Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an inviting shopping environment. This role requires strong communication skills, sales expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail store setting. The Sales Associate will play a vital role in driving sales through upselling and merchandising efforts while maintaining accurate cash handling and POS operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cashiering and cash handling
- Upsell products and promote special offers to increase store sales
- Maintain proper merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and inviting
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in similar retail environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus
- Knowledge of merchandising, upselling techniques, and product demos
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Availability to work weekends, and holidays
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
