Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled IT Manager to lead our organization's technology initiatives and infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
- Oversee system administration tasks across Windows Server, Linux, and Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Manage enterprise network security protocols by implementing firewalls, VPNs, Cisco routers, network security standards (including PCI compliance), and intrusion detection systems.
- Coordinate software development projects utilizing languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, .NET framework, Python, SQL, and HTML to support application enhancements and integrations.
- Supervise vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement, licensing agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring cost-effective solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive IT support operations by managing help desk functions, remote access software, desktop support teams, and technical troubleshooting to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies in accordance with NIST standards to safeguard critical data and ensure rapid recovery from disruptions.
- Lead project management efforts using tools like Microsoft Project and Jira while applying Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of IT initiatives.
- Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness through regular training sessions on network security best practices and compliance with PCI standards.
- Implement IT governance policies that align with organizational objectives while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing complex IT environments with expertise in system administration for Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, Oracle databases, and SAN storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure including TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configurations, Cisco routers/switches, firewalls, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), DHCP/DNS services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies like Citrix and VMware vSphere.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell and Python for automation tasks; familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams using project management tools like Microsoft Project or Jira within Agile frameworks.
- Deep understanding of information security principles aligned with NIST standards; experience implementing PCI compliance measures is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $85,721.08 - $120,000.00 per year
