Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. In this vital role, we are looking for a medical assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations. The ideal candidate ensures smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and efficient clinical processes. Lastly, we are a busy, patient focused Ear, Nose, & Throat medical practice committed to providing high-quality care in a friendly, professional environment.
Duties
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, scheduling surgeries, coordinating patient communication/follow up, and maintaining EHR system
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings
- Support clinical staff with medication administration and basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and managing follow-up care
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in ENT service line or similar outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in documenting patient information accurately
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
