Experienced Water, Mold Restoration & Carpet Cleaning Technician
Full-Time | 40–50 Hours/Week | Overtime Available
We are seeking an experienced Water, Mold Restoration & Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based position for an experienced technician who is skilled in restoration and professional carpet cleaning and is looking for steady hours, strong benefits, no sales pressure, and a real opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, drying, demolition, and mold remediation
- Set up, monitor, and remove professional drying equipment
- Perform professional residential and commercial carpet cleaning
- Perform upholstery and other related cleaning services as needed
- Inspect residences for water and mold concerns to find the underlying issue and identify potential cleaning or restoration recommendations.
- Properly operate truck-mounted and portable carpet cleaning equipment
- Apply appropriate pre-sprays, cleaning solutions, and treatments based on the type and condition of the carpet
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Take required job photographs and maintain accurate records
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in water and/or mold restoration
- Prior professional carpet cleaning experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work independently and on teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Professional appearance and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working nights and weekends during the on-call rotation
- Physically able to perform restoration and carpet cleaning work, including lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined or difficult areas
- Ability to safely work around water, cleaning chemicals, drying equipment, and potentially contaminated materials
- Willingness to learn and perform a variety of restoration and cleaning services
