We are currently seeking a Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys problem-solving, building strong client relationships, and helping business clients protect what they have worked hard to build.
Responsibilities
- Assist commercial clients with claims questions, billing concerns, policy changes, and payment options
- Quote, process, and remarket commercial insurance policies in a timely and accurate manner
- Review policies for accuracy and proactively discuss coverage needs with clients
- Evaluate risks and communicate with insurance carrier underwriters regarding policy details and eligibility
- Educate business clients on insurance coverages, exposures, and risk management strategies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional service
- Conduct account reviews to help ensure clients’ coverage keeps pace with their evolving business needs
- Maintain accurate documentation within the agency management system
- Work collaboratively with team members, insurance carriers, and business clients to resolve issues efficiently

Licensing & Education
- Current New York State Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred
- Applicants should be willing and able to obtain and maintain licensing requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred

Schedule & Location
- Full-time, in-office position
- Monday–Friday
- Flexible scheduling options between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Bloomfield, NY
Compensation is competitive and reflects experience level, licensing status, and the ability to independently manage commercial client accounts.
