Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at S&G. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities at our gas station. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency. A company vehicle will be provided for travel purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, gas station equipment, including fuel pumps, air compressors, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a gas station or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
