Responsibilities

- Assist with meal preparation, portioning ingredients, slicing techniques, and food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of orders
- Follow food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on recipes and ingredient availability
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants or catering is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production and handling procedures
- Experience with dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
