Responsibilities
- Assist with vision tests utilizing state of the art instruments.
- Assist patients in learning how to insert and remove contact lenses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical information.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Work with vision and medical insurance to find out the patient's responsibility.
- Provide patients with special annual supply pricing.
- Act as a great team member by being on time for shifts ready to work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in office experience
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience with patient care and retail sales
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical coding
- Ability to manage medical records and utilize EMR systems
