New York Therapy Placement Services, Inc. is expanding our multidisciplinary CPSE evaluation team and is currently seeking Creole-speaking bilingual evaluators across the boroughs of NYC: Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx.
We have immediate openings for:
- Bilingual Psychologists
- Bilingual Special Education Teachers
- Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who are passionate about working with preschool-aged children and supporting early intervention services.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct CPSE evaluations for preschool-aged children.
- Complete psychological, educational, speech/language, and developmental assessments.
- Perform behavioral observations and social histories as needed.
- Select and administer age-appropriate standardized assessments.
- Complete evaluation reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistent communication with the main office regarding case updates and report submissions.
Qualifications:
Special Education Teachers
- Must hold New York State Special Education Certification
Speech-Language Pathologists
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Graduate degree from a NYS licensure-qualifying program
- NYS TSSLD/TSH certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Psychologists
- Active New York State Psychologist License (PhD or PsyD)
Bilingual Requirements:
- Fluency in Creole and Bilingual Extension required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the CPSE process highly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to complete reports promptly and professionally
- Candidates cannot currently be employed by the NYC Department of Education (must be separated from DOE employment for at least one year)

Compensation:
Special Education Teachers
$150–$190 per evaluation (based on licensure and certification)
Speech-Language Pathologists
$190–$200 per evaluation
(Providers completing approximately 5 evaluations weekly may earn $950-$1,000/week depending on availability and scheduling.)
Psychologists
$410 per evaluation ($270 – Bilingual Psychological Evaluation & 140 – Social History/Observation)
(Providers completing approximately 5 evaluations weekly may earn around $2,050/week depending on availability and scheduling.)
