Job Description
SFE is looking for Cafeteria Attendents who will provide support to the foodservices department supporting Alamo Heights School District. We offer convenient Monday through Friday daytime hours.
People from fast food restaurants are encouraged to apply! No weekend hours and you work the school schedules so most major holidays you would be off!!!
Must be able to pass background check.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, and/or Management instruction.
· Serve meals to students, staff, parents, etc. and ensures lines are stocked.
· Ensures quality of prepared food based on SFE standards and mandated health standards.
· Assist with receiving,checking temperatures, and putting away deliveries.
· Ensure kitchen is sanitary at end of the day to include but not limited to dishwashing, sweeping,mopping, sanitizing work/prep/serving stations, dusting, etc.
Qualifications:
· Ability to safely and properly operate equipment found in commercial kitchens
· Ability to adhere to safety practices
· Ability to read and follow recipes (multi-step written and oral instructions)
· Possess basic cooking and cleaning skills
