About the Role…

Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing delivery route and inspecting vehicle before leaving with deliveries
- Loading/unloading, transporting, and delivering fresh pasta, sauces, and provisions to local businesses in a safe and timely manner
- Handle fragile products with care to ensure they arrive in pristine condition
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Completing and managing all documentation related to deliveries including obtaining customer verification of delivery via signed invoices
- Professional interaction with customers
- Inspecting and maintaining cleanliness of vehicles
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- Assist in other areas when deemed necessary
Skills and Qualifications:
- Clean driving record, maintaining a valid CA driver’s license (we conduct and maintain MVR checks/scores for all drivers at MHF)
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a company driver
- A friendly, customer focused attitude and excellent communication skills
- Strong time management skills, self-starter
- Strong sense of teamwork, able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, drive, lift, and carry 40-50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions, comfortable driving in all weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret delivery documents, navigation tools
- Strong hand eye coordination
- Ability to maintain energy and focus over an entire shift
Certifications Provided:
- Food Handler Certification
- CA Harassment Prevention Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
