Job Overview
Good Heritage Childcare & Preschool is looking for a warm, nurturing, and dependable Infant Teacher to join our childcare and preschool program.
The primary role will be caring for our infants and supporting their growth and development through responsive care, play, and meaningful interactions. Because we are a mixed-age setting, you may occasionally help with our toddlers and preschoolers as needed.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing attentive and nurturing infant care
* Following individual feeding, sleeping, and diapering routines
* Engaging infants in age-appropriate play and activities
* Supporting children’s development through play and everyday interactions
* Observing and responding to each child’s individual needs
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
* Communicating with families and working as part of a team
* Assisting with toddlers and preschoolers when needed
We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. Experience with infants is a necessity, and a background in early childhood education or child development is a plus.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
