Responsibilities
- Perform roofing repairs on various types of roofs including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools to replace damaged shingles, tiles, siding, or metal panels.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute repair tasks.
- Safely operate ladders and harnesses while following all construction safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as roofing panels, siding, or masonry components.
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and tile laying techniques to restore roof integrity and improve aesthetics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to construction workplace safety standards at all times.
Experience
- Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing repair or related trades such as siding installation or restoration work.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Hands-on experience with metal stud framing, masonry, framing carpentry, or remodeling projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other essential equipment for roofing and siding projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy materials safely and follow detailed safety protocols consistently.
