Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks with manual transmission to deliver goods across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques
- Assist with securing loads and verifying delivery accuracy before departure
- Drive route-driven deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at each destination
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Support warehouse activities such as moving inventory and organizing shipments as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with route driving familiarity
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures and inventory handling
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks involving moving cargo
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards for box trucks
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and driving in various traffic conditions
