Schedule
This position operates on a night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.
Role Overview
As a Feeder/Packer, you will rotate between two primary functions based on operational requirements. In the feeder capacity, you will manage paper blanks and sorting tasks. When acting as a packer, your focus will be on boxing clamshells or fry cartons, verifying product quality, and confirming that all items are securely glued.
Core Responsibilities

Operate a minimum of four machines by lifting, pre-breaking, and loading product into the hopper.

Ensure the efficient operation of six formers to help maintain consistent production flow.

Remove plastic wrapping and transfer tickets to the operator to keep the workflow organized.

Monitor product quality by identifying loose scrap and ensuring cartons remain aligned.

Manage R.S.C. inventory levels to ensure case packers have the necessary supplies for production.

Uphold a clean and orderly work environment to support overall facility standards.

Adhere to all safety protocols, including GMP, PPE, HACCP, and JSA guidelines, to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.

Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Manage six lanes while pulling product from forming chutes at designated intervals.

Perform quality inspections to ensure defective items are removed and replaced with high-quality stock.

Verify that product is correctly glued and accurately counted before being placed into sleeves.

Document quality checks on official forms to ensure compliance with production standards.

Package finished sleeves into bags and cases, then place them onto the conveyor for shipping.

Support operators by cleaning glue tips and assisting with labeling or repacking to improve overall efficiency.

Provide relief for other team members during breaks and lunches to ensure continuous operation.

Maintain a tidy workspace to help create a more organized and efficient production floor.

Follow all safety protocols, including GMP, PPE, HACCP, and JSA guidelines, to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.

Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Assemble and label boxes as needed for production.

Replenish glue containers for the machines.

Perform end-of-shift cleanup of the designated work area.

Coordinate with operators or supervisors to address any additional operational needs.
