We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in a manufacturing environment operating grinder machines, hydraulic presses, abrasive saws, and other production equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in performing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate grinder machines, abrasive saws, hydraulic presses, and related production equipment.
- Roll bulky reels onto production stands and secure materials for processing.
- Set up and adjust machinery using calipers and precision measurements.
- Use hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings and components to finished products.
- Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing operations according to specifications.
- Conduct detailed quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Accurately record inspection results and production data in the company database.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience operating grinder machines, hydraulic presses, abrasive saws, or similar manufacturing equipment required.
- Strong experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle production materials as required.
- Manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or metalworking experience strongly preferred.
