American Traveler is hiring an experienced Travel RN for a CVOR position requiring mandatory scrub and circulating skills, including complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases.

Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of an acute care hospital setting
-
Patient population includes open-heart and thoracic surgical cases such as CABGs, valve replacements, aortic aneurysms, TAVRs, and robotic-assisted lobectomies
-
Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM

On-call requirements include 1–2 overnight shifts per week and 1 weekend per month

13-week contract

Active WA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience preferred

Prior travel nursing experience required

Mandatory proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating

Hands-on experience with complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures (CABGs, valve replacements, aneurysms, TAVRs, robotic thoracic cases) strongly preferred

Must be able to scrub and circulate independently in a high-acuity cardiovascular OR environment

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
