Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio, with over 100 years of graduates, forms young men and women into disciples of Jesus Christ. We are seeking a Theology teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic committed to Catholic education and student formation.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering engaging instruction across Theology courses

Differentiating instruction and using data to meet diverse student learning needs

Guiding students in understanding Church teaching, Scripture, and Catholic tradition

Fostering faith development, moral reasoning, and respectful discussion of theological topics

Integrating prayer, reflection, and opportunities for spiritual growth into the classroom

Encouraging students to connect faith to daily life, service, and decision-making

Collaborating with colleagues, including Intervention Services, on department and school-wide initiatives

Maintaining clear, positive communication with students, families, and administration
Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, catechetics, religious studies, or a related field; experience in education is preferred. Candidates should be practicing Catholics and demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Central Catholic High School.
