We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server/ Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities
- The hours for this role are Friday through Sunday, 8am to 3pm. There will be opportunity to expand hours to Wednesday and Thursday as well when we get into the Fall season.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Take customers orders using a Clover POS system. You will ensure orders are correct and any modifcations are clearly communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes, glasses, and utensils to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing tables, chairs, and service stations
- Support kitchen staff by handling food safely and following proper food handling procedures
- After you master order taking and serving, you will have the opportunity to learn the coffee machine and make our hand crafted espresso drinks! Barista experience is not mandatory but definitely will help in this role.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
- Tips will be provided on top of your hourly wage through your paycheck and is split amongst the entire team.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with serving, and general restaurant operations is highly desirable
- A positive attitude combined with teamwork-oriented mindset is essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
