Auto-Lab of Tallahassee is hiring a Shop Lead Diagnostic Technician.
This is not an entry-level role and not a “just fix what’s handed to you” position. This is an opportunity for a strong diagnostic technician to lead the shop floor and set the standard for quality, productivity, and professionalism.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately
- Support and guide other technicians
- Provide detailed digital inspections to support customer transparency
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented shop culture
- Maintain tools and equipment in professional condition
- Take ownership of customer retention through accurate work
- Set the standard for production and quality
Skills
- Advanced diagnostics (electrical, drivability, network systems)
- 5+ years diagnostic experience required.
- ASE certifications
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical data
- Experience with digital vehicle inspections
- Must possess a valid US Driver's License, be insurable on shop insurance policy, and possess the ability to drive a vehicle with passengers.
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs without assistance
