Summary:
We currently have a delivery driver (Class C/B) position open for the day shift. This job requires the ability to drive a Class C Box truck. You’ll be loading and unloading your truck making multiple deliveries in the northern Nevada area. We operate from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available when needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct inspection of company vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
- Keep company vehicle clean (inside and out), and ensure that it is well maintained with fuel, oil, and is ready to drive.
- Pack and load products onto truck according to Company’s policy.
- May have to lift products or parcels (must be able to lift 75 lbs.)
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Unload goods as per customer's requirements.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure product accuracy.
- Obtain delivery confirmation from each customer.
- Maintain ongoing communication with warehouse dispatcher.
- Inform management of any obstruction to making safe and efficient deliveries on time.
- Report all delivery discrepancies to warehouse dispatcher while at customer’s location.
- Ensure that both general and preventive measures are performed on the vehicle.
- Fill in pertinent information such as mileage, and departure and delivery time on company manifest and/or provided log book.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to pass a driving test, drug test, and reference checks
- Clean driving record within the last 3 years
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a delivery driver.
- Valid Drivers License or Class B CDL
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
