Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including dental diagnosis and patient evaluation using medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients requiring braces, aligners, retainers, or other orthodontic appliances.
- Perform orthodontic procedures such as fitting braces, adjusting appliances, and monitoring treatment progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatment activities in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health practices related to orthodontics, including appliance maintenance and hygiene protocols.
- Ensure infection control through aseptic techniques and adhere to all safety standards during procedures.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice as an Orthodontist with certification in orthodontics or specialty training in orthodontics.
- Proven experience with dental office management software - Dentrix and Dexis is a plus!
- Proficiency in Four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Experience with dental fabrication processes and medical imaging technology to support precise orthodontic interventions.
- Excellent client communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and foster positive patient relationships.
- Commitment to infection control protocols and maintaining high standards of aseptic technique during all procedures.
