Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests. Your ability to manage time effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Participate in special events, catering, or banquets as required
Skills
- Proficiency in operating POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Previous fine dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Experience in food service or the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
