About the Role
PsychPlus is seeking a Fulltime Behavioral Health Specialist to support our outpatient mental health program. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for behavioral health who enjoy working in group-based clinical settings and supporting patients alongside licensed clinicians.
This is a direct care support role that plays a key part in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and engaging environment for patients (Youth/adolescent for PHP-Partial Hospitalization Program)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and support group therapy sessions
- Monitor patient participation, behavior, and safety during programming
- Provide emotional support, redirection, and encouragement as needed
- Reinforce treatment goals established by licensed clinicians
- Document observations and communicate concerns to clinical staff
- Support daily operations of the Partial Hospitalization Program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Services, or a related field
OR
- Equivalent hands-on experience in mental or behavioral health (2 years or more)
- Experience in group-based settings preferred (PHP, IOP, outpatient, residential, school, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working on-site

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
