Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information on features and benefits
- Process transactions accurately using retail math skills, including cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Handle cash management efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation at the register
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Offer Dillard’s Rewards program to all customers and contribute to store loyalty goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing registers
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist customer
- A proactive attitude with the motivation to meet sales goals and deliver outstanding customer experience
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
