Leasing Agent / Recertification Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Leasing Agent / Recertification Specialist on behalf of a property management client in Annapolis, MD. This is a full-time position working through Express Employment Professionals.
We are seeking an experienced leasing professional with recertification experience who is comfortable working with residents, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective residents through the leasing process
- Conduct resident interviews and process applications
- Complete annual and interim recertifications
- Maintain accurate resident files and documentation
- Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and company policies
- Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with occupancy and leasing goals
Requirements:
- Previous leasing experience required
- Recertification experience required
- Affordable housing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, or similar housing programs preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Summer Hours)
Pay:
- $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

- Candidates must be eligible for rehire with previous employers.
- Individuals who are not eligible for rehire by Pennrose will not be considered for this opportunity.
