What You'll Do
As a Hospital Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the hospital by:
- Cleaning patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and common spaces
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Emptying trash and replenishing supplies
- Cleaning furniture, windows, walls, vents, and fixtures
- Safely using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Moving furniture and setting up rooms when needed
- Reporting maintenance concerns and safety hazards
- Following infection prevention, OSHA, and Sodexo safety standards
- Completing other housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- No previous housekeeping experience required. Training is provided.
- Valid driver's license if operating company vehicles is required.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, reach, push, and pull
- Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Work safely around cleaning chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment
