Duties
- Manage and supervise all phases of data center construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between owners, contractors, design teams, and vendors to facilitate seamless communication and project coordination.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project plans.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify accuracy and scope of work.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other project scheduling tools to monitor progress and update project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality control, progress tracking, and adherence to contract requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports including project schedules, cost estimates (construction estimating), change orders, and contract documentation.
- Coordinate procurement activities using Construction management software to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Lead project meetings to align teams on milestones, deliverables, and potential risks; employ effective time management strategies to keep projects on track.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management for data centers or large-scale commercial projects with extensive site experience.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to civil and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with construction estimating tools and contracts management to negotiate effectively and control costs.
- Expertise in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or similar platforms for detailed planning and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with civil engineering tools like Civil 3D for site layout planning and design validation.
- Skilled in using Bluebeam for document review and markup; adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously through excellent time management skills.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and coordinate complex construction activities involving multiple trades.
- Deep understanding of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements for data center environments.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
