We are hiring entry-level Apprentice Electricians for outdoor electrical work on TxDOT and other government highway and roadway projects in the El Paso, TX area. No previous experience required. What you'll do Assist with outdoor highway and roadway electrical work for TxDOT and government agencies Read plans; install, splice and connect; inspect, test and troubleshoot; locate underground lines Drive to job sites across the El Paso area Full-time field schedule — roughly 40 hours a week over 5 days, mostly outside with a very high physical load What you'll need — every item is a hard requirement Texas Apprentice Electrician license — Apprentice level ONLY (Journeyman and Master holders are over-licensed and NOT eligible) CPR training — you must already have it, or the job cannot start OSHA-10 certification — required, not optional Valid driver's license CLEAR motor vehicle record High school diploma or GED Willing to attend night classes for up to 4 years Physically able to handle VERY high-physical outdoor work in all conditions — frequent heavy lifting and carrying Available full-time, 40 hours a week over a 5-day schedule No previous experience required (0 years minimum) Pay & schedule $26/hour to start — negotiable based on experience Full-time, ~40 hours a week over 5 days.
