Brookside Country Club | Accounting Manager Position with Human Resource knowledge
Brookside Country Club has a membership of over 700 members and encompasses golf, tennis, pickleball, dining and events.
The Accounts Manager directly supervises the following: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all finance, accounting and management reporting processes of the club.
Duties Include but not limited to:
- Directing, summarizing, forecasting and reporting financial activities of the Club
- Participating and contributing in monthly Finance Committee
- Directing and preparing annual budgets
- Implementation and oversight of internal controls and coordinates audits
- Supervision and oversight of A/R, A/P, payroll, employee files, 401 K plan
- Responsible for employee personal records, employee procedures and updated employee handbook information.
- Supervises daily accounting, verifies and authorizes payroll.
- Oversees billing and collection operations
- Performs Monthly Balance Sheet and Monthly Profit and Loss Statements and Cash Flow and A/R Report
- Knowledge of Human Resources and current employment laws
- Candidate Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years Accounting, Finance or Related | Management level experience
- Excellent Computer Skills including Excel, Club Systems Software-Club Essential and Word
- Proven ability to manage in a team environment and communicate effectively to the fellow management team members, board of directors, finance committee and staff members at all levels.
