Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to strict quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC router machine to produce precision parts according to technical specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately to ensure proper machine setup and part fabrication.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces securely on machine.
- Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments such as calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Follow safety standards rigorously, including proper use of hand tools, forklift operation when handling materials, and adherence to factory safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming for efficient machine operation.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints for accurate fabrication.
- Experience with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing automation.
- Ability to operate shop math confidently for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and GD&T standards for quality control.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks for part design or modifications is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with materials handling tools like forklifts and understanding of warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members.
