Saw Operator / Shop Helper (Ontario)
Job Type: Full-time, 4-day work week, Overtime as required.
6AM – 4:30pm Mon -Thursday.
Pay Rate: $20 - $23
Job Responsibilities:
Daily shop cleanup (take out trash, sweep shop floor, pull chips from machines and other duties as assigned)
Weekly, Monthly and Yearly machine maintenance.
Saw material for shop as needed using table saw, bandsaw, horizontal saw or chop saw.
Drive company truck to deliver or pick up parts or materials and other assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have saw experience.
Ability to be punctual, follow directions and work independently.
Fast learner with organization skills, ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
Self-motivated, positive attitude and good work ethic required.
Ability to work on your feet for long periods, standing, walking, bending and lifting.
Able to lift 50+ pounds
Reliable transportation.
Must speak and read English.
Prior facility maintenance experience a plus.
Experience with sit-down forklift a plus but not required.
