Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Breakfast to lead our vibrant food service operation. Responsibilities
- Lead daily cafe operations, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Supervise kitchen activities including food production, culinary tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours while controlling costs.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance skills in food handling, hospitality management, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated expertise in food industry operations including inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams, conducting interviews, and developing staff through training & development initiatives.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of customer service.
- Previous experience managing restaurant or hospitality operations at a supervisory or assistant manager level is highly desirable.
