Spacewerks, Inc is a small business in Largo, FL. We are professional, agile and innovative. Our employees are the driving fource behind our success and we strive to provide our clients with the best possible product, within their budget. While we primarily service the Tampa Bay area, previous projects have taken us to NYC, LA and Seattle Spacewerks has a dozen projects throughout the United States and internationally. We typically work directly with the design team to bring their visions to life. Being a State Licensed Certified Building Contractor, Spacewerks can offer additional support to clients that may be outside of the relm of a typical cabinet company. We have found a niche in Hospitality Interiors and really enjoy the work we do. Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble cabinets according to specifications and blueprints
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials for cabinet construction
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides
- Sand and finish cabinets to ensure a smooth and polished appearance
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure cabinets meet their needs and expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cabinet maker or in a related field such as carpentry or woodworking
- Proficient in using tools and equipment commonly used in cabinet making
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during construction
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Skills:
- Mold remediation: Knowledge of techniques and procedures for removing mold from cabinets
- Restoration industry: Familiarity with the processes involved in restoring damaged cabinets
- Stucco: Experience working with stucco materials for cabinet finishes
- Roof: Understanding of how cabinets can be integrated into roof structures
- Drywall: Ability to work with drywall materials when installing or repairing cabinets
- Remodeling: Experience in remodeling projects involving cabinet installation or modification
- Maintenance Person: General knowledge of various maintenance person tasks related to cabinet making
- Water damage restoration: Understanding of the steps involved in restoring water-damaged cabinets
- Metal stud framing: Proficiency in constructing cabinets using metal stud framing techniques
- Caulking: Skill in applying caulk to seal gaps and joints in cabinets
