Clean Team is a growing commercial cleaning company committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients through strong leadership, reliable teams, and a focus on quality. We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple client locations in the Knoxville area.
The Area Manager is responsible for leading daily operations across multiple facilities, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining staffing levels, and supporting employee development. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Supervise and support employees across multiple assigned facilities.
Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members while fostering a positive work environment.
Manage employee schedules and ensure coverage for absences and open positions.
Monitor labor hours and staffing levels to meet budget goals and maintain profitability.
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Address employee performance concerns and resolve workplace issues professionally.
Respond promptly to client concerns and ensure service expectations are consistently met.
Maintain regular communication with employees and company leadership.
Complete required reports, documentation, and operational updates accurately and on time.
Required:
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple locations independently.
Ability to work afternoon and evening hours, with occasional weekend availability.
Preferred:
Experience in commercial janitorial, facilities management, or service-based operations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
