Job Summary
Vanity Life is seeking a passionate, experienced, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our beauty team. We are specifically looking for a well-rounded professional who is skilled and confident in all three of our core service areas: facials and skincare treatments, lash extensions, and full-body waxing.
In this role, you will provide personalized beauty and aesthetic services designed to enhance each client’s natural beauty and confidence while creating a relaxing, welcoming, and professional experience.
The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality services, maintaining excellent sanitation standards, communicating professionally with clients, and providing personalized recommendations from consultation through aftercare. We are looking for someone who values client relationships, understands the importance of client retention, and is comfortable recommending appropriate services and retail products based on each client’s individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform customized facials and professional skincare treatments
- Provide Classic, Hybrid, and Volume lash extensions, including fills and removals
- Perform full-body waxing, including Brazilian/bikini, face, underarms, arms, legs, back, and chest
- Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and products
- Educate clients on preparation, maintenance, skincare, and aftercare
- Maintain strict sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Deliver a professional, welcoming, and high-quality client experience
- Recommend retail products and services based on individual client needs
- Build client relationships through excellent service, communication, rebooking, and retention
Qualifications
- Current esthetician license as required by the State of Texas
- Professional hands-on experience with facials, lash extensions, AND full-body waxing
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, disinfection, and infection-control procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with a diverse clientele
- Strong consultation and client-care skills
- Ability to confidently recommend services, treatments, and proper aftercare
Preferred Experience
- Previous salon, spa, lash studio, or waxing studio experience
- Established professional experience performing all three core services: facials, lash extensions, and full-body waxing
- Experience building and retaining clientele
- Knowledge of professional skincare products and treatment protocols
- Professional portfolio, social media page, or before-and-after photos showcasing previous work are strongly preferred
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and laser therapies
- Proficiency in spa services such as waxing (full-body waxing), lash extensions, and other aesthetic treatments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients
- Expertise in esthetician licensing requirements and adherence to sanitation standards
- Excellent sales skills with a focus on retail product recommendations that complement treatment plans
- Effective communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
