American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with at least 6 months of current acute care CT experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level 1 Trauma and Primary Stroke Center in Wichita, KS.

750-bed acute care hospital serving as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
-
CT department averages approximately 130 CT scans per day
-
4 GE scanners (64-slice and above) with PACS and FUJI Synapse
-
EMR is Meditech; prior experience preferred
-
Procedures include CTA chest, neck, and abdomen; CTA cardiac studies (Structural Heart program); and CT Head Stroke protocol
-
Staffing structure includes a lead tech plus three techs on day shift

12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience, with activity within the last 6 months

ARRT (R) and current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

Active KS license required if applicable

GE scanner experience preferred

SSN and DOB required for consideration; no Canadian SSNs accepted

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Black scrubs required; not provided by the facility

High-volume, fast-paced CT department within a busy trauma and stroke center
