We are hiring a reliable and friendly Customer Service Associate to join our dry cleaning and tailoring drop-off location on a part-time basis (20–25 hours per week depending on business needs).
Pay:
$16.50 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
This is a front counter, customer-facing position in a dry cleaning and tailoring store. We are a drop-off location, meaning all cleaning and pressing is handled off-site. Your main responsibility is helping customers, entering orders, and keeping garments organized for processing. When orders come back separate and pack accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Enter dry cleaning and tailoring orders into a point-of-sale system
- Tag, sort, and organize garments for processing
- Handle customer drop-offs and pickups
- Operate cash register and process payments
- Provide updates on customer orders
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter and workspace
- Ensure accuracy in order entry and garment tracking
Requirements
- English and Spanish required (spoken )
- Customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or POS system
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to multitask in a busy customer service environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle garments throughout the shift
Schedule
- 20–25 hours per week depending on business needs
- Includes one 10-hour shift and two 5-hour shifts per week
- Additional hours may be available based on workload
