Responsibilities
1. Support NYC content and social operations, including topic organization, asset collection, posting schedules, first-draft captions, interaction tracking, and performance logging.
2. Support KOC / creator outreach and Reddit / subreddit monitoring, including candidate screening, partnership list maintenance, subreddit updates, trending questions, and content idea collection; any external publishing should go through team review.
3. Support content production and AI-tool workflows by following defined processes for research organization, first-draft processing, asset archiving, and publishing-status tracking.
4. Turn information from social, Reddit, KOC, and website / app content workflows into structured internal tools and review docs that the team can reuse later.
Requirements
1. Familiar with at least one content platform such as Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, or Xiaohongshu, with a genuine interest in city lifestyle, social content, or community discussion.
2. Strong English reading ability, with the ability to understand information from Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, newsletters, event pages, and similar sources; the ability to write basic English DMs or captions is a plus.
3. Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency, and able to follow team workflows for research organization, content first drafts, asset management, and simple data logging; experience building lightweight AI workflows is a plus.
4. Detail-oriented and willing to maintain spreadsheets, statuses, assets, links, permissions, publishing schedules, and data records.
5. Have baseline editorial judgment and can tell the difference between content that merely looks noisy and content that is actually relevant to the target user or worth keeping as a content asset.
6. Able to commit steady internship time each week and comfortable with cross-time-zone communication and the messy scope that often comes with early-stage teams.
Bonus Points
1. Have run your own social account, Reddit account, newsletter, campus media, foodie / lifestyle account, community, or content project.
2. Familiar with NYC local life, North American campus or international-student communities, creator / KOC ecosystems, Reddit culture, or overseas social contexts.
3. Comfortable with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Figma, Notion, Airtable / Sheets, Feishu Sheets, basic data handling, or automation tools.
4. Experience with KOC partnerships, event recruitment, UGC collection, user interviews, community operations, content moderation, or asset management.
5. Have a real interest in at least one area such as restaurants, bars / nightlife, local fun, live events, city exploration, wellness, campus life, gaming, or anime / fandom culture.
