Overview
Atlas Moving Group is expanding into Austin and we're seeking a reliable, entrepreneurial person to aid our efforts.
This is not a conventional full-time management position or moving job. Our central team handles customer calls, marketing, recruiting, scheduling, payments, and routine administration.
Your initial role is simple: help us successfully launch in Austin and serve as a trusted local point of contact.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with local footprint & marketplace onboarding.
- Refer reliable local movers when possible.
- Provide occasional on-the-ground support when needed. (Rare)
- Help identify opportunities to improve and grow the branch. (Optional)
Strong performers may have the opportunity to take greater responsibility for Austin or help launch additional cities as Atlas Moving Group expands.
Who we're Looking for:
We're interested in both experienced operators and/or ambitious early-career candidates.
Moving experience is helpful, but not required. Experience in operations, logistics, business, sales, trades, leadership, or entrepreneurship is particularly valuable.
Recent college graduates with strong initiative are encouraged to apply.
Above all, we're looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and responsive.
- Resourceful and comfortable working independently.
- Familiar with Austin.
- Good with people.
- Interested in building something rather than simply filling a position.
Compensation
Compensation is dependent on regional activity; though our arrangement may include launch compensation, performance incentives, and bonuses from participation in our Austin operation's success.
Time commitment is similarly flexible and may evolve as the branch grows.
